Scholarships

  • "The game of soccer itself is great and the opportunities we have to impact the lives of our players is immeasurable. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunities I've had to stay involved in the game and The Walt Chyzowych Memorial Fund is one truly meaningful example."

Laura Jackson, 2010 WCMF Scholarship Recipient

Each year the United Soccer Coaches Foundation awards scholarships to individuals by providing financial assistance for them to attend United Soccer Coaches Coaching Academy residential diploma courses. These scholarships are made possible through the generosity of many donors.

Scholarships are funded using unrestricted funds, general endowment funds, and numerous named endowment funds including the Walter Chyzowych Fund at the United Soccer Coaches Foundation. Scholarships are applied toward the costs of tuition, housing and meals for an United Soccer Coaches National Diploma course or an Advanced National Diploma course.
